2021 Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards

2021 Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards

Despite a year of constant pivoting, three Tri-Valley restaurants earned
Restaurant Awards from the Wine Spectator in 2021.

Chef Francis X. Hogan of Sabio on Main
Sabio on Main

Located in the heart of Downtown Pleasanton, Sabio on Main is a well-known upscale bistro serving modern Spanish-Californian cuisine and a broad wine selection to match. It’s obvious that Chef Francis X. Hogan is no stranger to edible excellence; Sabio on Main received their first Wine Spectator Restaurant Award in 2016 and has been awarded the same accolade every year since.

Posada

Known by locals as a culinary hot spot, Posada serves up contemporary Southwestern cuisine while featuring popular and hard to find wines from California, France, and around the world. Although Posada has been a long-time favorite for those in the know, they’re celebrating their first year achieving a Wine Spectator Restaurant Award.

Uncle Yu's at the Vineyard

Since their debut in Livermore 15 years ago, Uncle Yu’s at the Vineyard has wowed its patrons with an award-winning wine list and their own twist on Asian cuisine. Voted Best of the East Bay by Diablo Magazine, and holding the Best of Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator since its opening in 2006, this is a marrying of flavors you won’t want to miss.
