Nottingham Cellars is focused on and dedicated to the pursuit of capturing Cabernet Sauvignon and its accompanying Bordeaux red varieties with a focus on showcasing single vineyards site specifics. We source grapes from vineyards with varying growing conditions, all of which are owned and farmed by people with similar goals in mind. We seek to build a team as dedicated to quality and hospitality as we are and challenge ourselves daily to bring joy through wine to all.
Wood Family Vineyards
Rhonda started making wine in 1996 after they purchased the Merlot vineyard where she and Michael built their home. Together, their passion for wine and belief that winemaking begins in the vineyard led them to the Livermore Valley. They are tireless champions about the quality of Livermore Valley soils and their commitment to Livermore Valley grown grapes. We have moved production from the home winery to our warehouse at 2407 Research Drive in 2017 and opened a tasting room with regular tasting hours for you to enjoy. Wednesday and Thursday we are curbside service only.

To purchase the Tri-Valley Weekend Wine Pass, you must be at least 21 years old and live at least 30 miles from the Tri-Valley.
The Weekend Wine Pass is available to you immediately after purchasing and can be activated within 1 year of purchase. To activate your pass, visit a winery and show the pass on your phone to a staff member to redeem a tasting flight. Your pass will be active for the next 48 hours for the remainder of your redemptions.
The California Hotel & Lodging Association incorporated recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the California Department of Public Health and county health departments, in a 10-page guide for guest and employee cleanliness, workplace cleaning and safety, and healthy guest experiences.
The “Clean + Safe” guide was created at the end of April well ahead of our state’s reopening to provide time for hotels to implement their programs and ensure employees had the two essential elements needed for a hotel to successfully re-open – guidance for hoteliers and confidence for travelers.
For guests, the standards include new arrival procedures, availability of sanitation amenities, physical distancing recommendations and even how to use elevators, among other changes. For employees, the standards include COVID-19 trainings, use of personal protective equipment, handwashing, and safely engaging with guests.
CHLA members are invited to become Clean + Safe Certified by completing the checklist, submitting it to the CHLA office for review and approval. Congratulations to the members who have completed this certification process and are ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and safety for their employees and guests.
